Kaleigh Fratkin is one of the most popular and richest Ice Hockey Player who was born on March 24, 1992 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. In November 2014 Fratkin was appointed Assistant Captain of the Connecticut Whale. On December 31st, Fratkin was one of three Connecticut Whale players (including Kate Buesser and Shannon Doyle) who were loaned to the Boston Pride. Three players donned Pride jerseys for just one day and played in 2015’s Women’s Winter Classic, the first women’s professional outdoor game.

Fratkin was selected to participate in the 1st NWHL All-Star Game, which took place on January 24, 2016 at Harbor Center in Buffalo, New York. In February 2016, she was the highest paid Canadian in the league, at $20,000. That season, she led the NWHL in most points by a defenseman, with 17.

During the 2017-18 NWHL season, Fratkin joined the Boston Pride, the third team in her NWHL career. During the 2019-20 NWHL season, and Fratkin’s third season with the Boston Pride, Fratkin was named NWHL Defender of the Year. For the third time, Fratkin was selected to the 2020 NWHL All Star Game. Fratkin also won the hardest shot competition, with a winning shot of 76mph.

In the 2015-16 season Fratkin worked as an analyst intern for the New York Islanders.

The 5th selection of 2014’s CWHL Draft, Fratkin played for the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League during the 2014-15 season. She scored eight points from 23 games. She played in every postseason game, and was a part of helping the Blades win the 2014 Clarkson Cup.

In April 2016, she signed with the New York Riveters. Fratkin was again an All Star in 2016-17.
